This is my response to this week’s photo prompt by “Friday Fictioneers”.

It felt like Indian summer, but Jess and Levi wanted to make the best of their holiday. Jess loved to roam, and Levi was an architect. This Spanish town definitely checked all the boxes for their dream destination.

They were about to experience everything – the food, the wine, the flamenco and the most exciting of all, “La Tomatina”. But Levi wanted to see this historic synagogue.

At the entrance, Jess touched a statue. A man with a hat. Its shadow fell on the grass.

The moment she touched it, the building twisted. But Levi had entered the building already.
