It’s almost Friday, and time for my “Friday Fictioneers” story.

Vieux-Port de Montréal was always a major tourist attraction. The cobblestone streets of the old stone town magically transported visitors to the 18th century. But ever since Cassie Nightingale opened her boutique and inn there, it became even more enigmatic.
For years, no one lived in that old stone building, and then all of a sudden, Cassie appeared in the town with her mysterious charm. She opened her bed and breakfast inn and a vintage boutique in the bewitched Château.
If you ever go that way, please do stop by the boutique or, better yet, stay the night at her inn. Locals call her “The Good Witch.” She can tell what’s bothering you before you say a word. And the clothes… Well, they seem enchanted… 😊
To read the full story, please wait for my next blog…
Oh, please do tell me which street to find this one 😉
I have to go to Old Montreal this very weekend 🙂
Love this, Surabhi.

It’s funny for me that 80s and 90s styles are considered vintage! Your story has a mysterious, but playful tone to it.

Love the mystery and mixture of dark and light in this. I’m glad she’s the Good Witch, she sounds powerful.
I hopped forward to read the longer story. Also evidence of the goodness, but I do think this piece stands alone for FF too.

Thanks for reading😊. Actually the character and name is taken directly from “The Good Witch” movies and TV series. It was shot in Ontario. I just love the show.
